That's not saying much in a one bid league.

What's a very high level?

Getting 4 star kids to come to UaB without using a checkbook on his mom.

There have been differences. We blew out teams we were supposed to blow out. While Richmond is supposed to be down, they are a strong program and their player who scored 26 is talented. More umportabtly , they are no Furman. Who we lost at home to last year.

Those teams that we've blown out are the worst of the worst. How can you take anything from beating them? Furthermore, we only beat a d2 (I think?) team by about 25. That proves nothing. This seems like the same team as last year with some more talent and depth. At this pace, we will win about 5-6 more games than last year and be no more than thoroughly mediocre. With a team with this experience and talent, that is a major, major failure.

The difference I was pointing out is this year we blew out Furman like teams. Last year we lost to Furman. Richmond is not a Furman like team.

And Boohoo we only beat someone by 25. We have played D2 teams much closer.

A high 3 star on rivals. Also kids mean more than one. I know Davis signed many 4 stars without a checkbook. Looking at verbal commits he's out recruiting UAB right now

Sharpe played 12 games. Toney played a season and a half. Drake and Cooper, 1 season.

Mayfield was academically suspended mot of his career.
Bassett never played.

Of those you listed only Vaden significantly contributed.

Davis didn't use a checkbook only because he used Western Union to pay his recruits.

Somebody should create "The Mike Davis man-love forum".

I'm so sick of reading about Davis this and Davis that. He was a terrible HC. UAB did itself a favor kicking him to the curb.

Our coach isnt Davis his name is Eshan, it does no good to harp on who was the better XO coach. It appears Eshan didnt have the team ready to play. William and Cokelys minutes need to increase. Sullivan, Lavender minutes need to decrease.
A freshmen showed more poise then upper classmen and he played hard. Our guys are throwing the ball away, that's the same issue we had last year.
I had Darling as one of the best returning player and the experience he gained in the under19 play had to be valued.
But Darling isnt responding at the consistent level needed from the 3, Darling is a shooter the shots he takes need to be made.

Its a team problem, coaches included when the team go 3 possessions or several minutes without scoring. IMO we move Darling to the bench and insert Perry. We call time out and run a play. When you are playing a team that you should beat and that team is up by 4-6 points, its okay to call a timeout.

The team seniors and upper class-men need to look in the mirror, because we have seen this team before and that team didn't get better.
Now having vented, this is a talented team, I wish the coach would shorten the bench, AND CHEW ON SOME BUTTS.. but the next game I coach my record will be 1 and 0 or 0 and 1. We are is 3-1 and not 0-4.
My final thoughts, Lets get the next one, Go Blazers, rebounder2u

I'm a troll remember get it right, facts is facts he's been to the tournament recently and at every school he's been at. He was slowly correcting his mistakes at UAB before being canned.

Perry should start over Darling. Why decrease mins for Lavender and Sullivan? That's a seven man rotation.

Would like to see Norton come off the bench and run the second unit since we are at a ten man rotation. He could get his shots and run the unit for a good 8 mins without subs.

We will have at least a better idea how much a fluke the Richmond game was later tonight. Maybe Richmond shocks Cincy too? In my opinion you really have no idea which direction a team is headed until December at the soonest.
