Not watching only following online: Are we guarding anyone? Lots of layups. Are we getting beat off the dribble like last year?

UAB's Robert Ehsan says his team "has to take advantage of our size" in today's Cayman Classic first round game vs. Richmond. He worries about defending the Richmond offense. Lots of back cuts and passing.
Assists: Richmond 10, UAB 1 w/10 TOs

Out of a timeout, we have a possession that ends in a shot clock violation....

Well, Delaware and Jacksonville State were able to handle it with NO issue whatsoever. We have fallen so far it's embarrassing.

Astoundingly terrible. Only taking 3s and tons of turnovers. Seems our guys only showed up for the sea and sand.

The guys were up too late last night bc they were so wound up from their days on the beach. Probably stayed up even later text messaging their young girlfriends about it on their cellular phones.

I paid $10 for this, and I don’t want to watch the second half.

Again, if we had even an average coaching staff, this game would be an easy win. We have a staff made up of recruiters who do not know how to actually coach a team. Far from average, our coaching staff is the worst in our conference, and among the worst in the nation.
The same things that killed us last year, lack of team defense, inability to set a pick on offense, etc. are going to kill us this year. Our staff refused to self scout after the disaster last year, and instead just convinced themselves that it was all due to Nick Norton's injury. That delusion is going to cost us another lost season.

For those with the stream, are we just leaving the 3 point shooters wide open?
