Troy, Ark State, App State, Ga State are all 4 bowl eligible, Who fills our 5th bowl spot?

NMSU needs to win both remaining games, Idaho and South Alabama

ULL needs to win atleast 1 game from App State or Ga Southern

ULM needs to win Both of their remaining games with Ark State and FSU.

Well I'll be the first to say that I'm PRETTY SURE that NMSU beats South.

Personally I believe NMSU has the easiest road...However we might not want them to become bowl eligible since their President came out and said depending on location they might Decline a bowl offer due to budget....

At the same time I believe the majority of people are tired of seeing ULL in the Nola bowl. I know stAte and Troy fans are.

Cajun fans would also like a change of scenery. Don’t think for a second that we are overjoyed by yet another NO Bowl. But if asked we aren’t turning a bowl down.

I'm not.

I only care about ULL in NOLA if it could screw up one of the better teams bowl destination. Probably care the least this year because we're looking at UAB or UTSA as the likely CUSA rep, and those type games do nothing for our fan base.

Now that we have lost to GaSo and have no chance at a bowl, we will ruin NMSU year and beat them this weekend. Sorry NMSU, it's just what we do. You would have been better off if we would have won and kept GaSo 0-whatever.....

We absolutely will not beat NMSU with Mason Petrino playing QB. So that's one for them.

If ULL is looking for win #6 I’d be a little worried if I was App... if they lose to GS then App should be fine

If we beat GS, we'll already have 6 wins.

IF we lose to GS, then we will be looking at App for a shot at win #6.

I'm predicting USA beats NMSU. This will be a big game for the jags, so Joey will have the guys fired up for his final game as Jags coach.

We lost to ULL in Larry's last game ever, so you never know. Troy lead 23-21 at the half, but eventually something like 43-26.

Hearing from several sources ULL won’t be going to the Nola Bowl even if they get to 6 or 7 wins.

I do know Troy wants to go to New Orleans and stAte doesn’t. With Troys history in New Orleans and big attendance numbers I don’t see Nola passing on us if they arnt taking ULL.

I also know FAU wants to go to New Orleans. But would go to a different bowl if it had them playing someone like USF or UCF. If that happens it could be UAB in New Orleans.
