On the flip side, there are 3 couples clearly in their late 30's-early 40's with millions of screaming rambunctious children. Pain in the ASS! Don't know why they don't sit in the family section. Oh well, at least they're at the game, producing potential new fans.

RE: ODU @ MTSU
The keys to winning, are of course, continuous pressure on Stockstill and better play from the Offensive line. We have to get and keep their quarterback out of his rhythm. Need to stunt and use twists and also on occasion rush more than four guys. It seems like, to me anyway, that the D line always stay completely in their lanes. We become easier to block that way. And also, the one thing I was disappointed at was the ease with which Rice players were always in our backfield. Some times untouched.

Maybe that high def tv and a quiet couch is a better environment to peacefully enjoy a football game for some folks.

Our DL has to stay in lanes when there is a mobile QB. Its very different vs stationary QBs.
Our OL struggled a lot, but Rice does have a very good DL with a very good end (Weaver kept in check) and they blitzed a ton.

It is for me personally. I feel you miss too much at the stadium. I feel the same about baseball. Basketball is a diff story.

I can get behind thay nyg. I definitely 100% would rather be at a live bball game. But I could be talked out of going to a football all game, all things equal. For that reason.

Depends for me. I dont go to Skins games anymore because its not worth the hasstle and NFL fans are terrible, in general.
ODU games are a short drive and worth it. If I lived in Richmond, I would probably just want to watch from home.

Yeah, I have been to 2 skins games. Likely won't ever go again. I made the mistake of going to eagles games both times. Rudest experience ever. Even at fedex

Sorry, totally detailed.
Couldn't have setup the ending to the season any better for some drama.

There is not a better time go get the MTSU monkey off our backs. Then we can serve them another big s-burger in hoops too.

I live in Richmond and watch the football on tv/internet etc. but wouldn't miss a basketball game live if I can help it.

Not saying leave lanes uncovered. But shake things up a bit. Use deception. It seems like all we ever do is bull rush. Same guys rushing in the same lanes everytime. It becomes predictable and does not cause other teams to have to think.

Middle Tennessee manhandled Florida International (our best win) without Brent Stockstill. They were up 24-3 in the 3rd quarter I think. My point is ODU has to play its best game, by far, to have a shot. If we play like we did yesterday, we will lose big.

If you stunt or get outside vs a mobile QB, you are asking for trouble. That is why we had so much succes vs Charlotte ans Rice QBs (and Sturm last year). You have to make those guys beat you being dropback passers. Additionally, you have to stay in lanes vs inverted wishbone.
Against Mike White and stationary QBs, the DL does stunts and line games.

If we play like we did bs North Texas or WKy, we have a good shot.

I think the two teams are pretty evenly matched, and this is very much a winnable game. I expect MTSU to be favored, but by no more than 7-7 1/2 points. ODU wins -- 38-31, with no turnovers, Lawry going for 135 yards, Williams hitting 67% for just under 300 yards and two TDs, three sacks on Little Stock, and one pick-six. Halleluja, praise the Lord, and pass the ammunition! Go Monarchs!

Solid defense. Good short passing game. They are a better team. We need to figure out something.
