The UAB offense looked great in the Rice game and the first half of the UTSA game. We have scored 3 points since halftime in San Antonio.

i'm not a football aficionado admittedly, but we seem to have so many plays where we just simply run it straight up the middle. We seem to acquiesce ourselves to only gaining 1-2 yards on so many plays, that it sets us back on 2nd and 3rd down. I've noticed this all year. We need to open it up more.

we might as well only be allowed 2 downs every series, bc our playcallers seem okay with running it into the teeth of their defense for 0-2 yards once every series.

well, regardless of how this game ended up.. i am ecstatic about the results of our first season back.. amazing that we have a great chance to set a program record for wins in our first year back and go to a bowl game.
