Yep, I saw that also. I was surprised they didn’t call us George Mason and mention our 2006 Final Four run.

Not sure where to put this but may not justify its own thread.

we probably should start a general football coaching search thread for all the coaching carousel news. The Tennessee thread tilts me since it pretty much has nothing to do with Tennessee anymore.

So I'm catching up on the Texas/WVU game from last week and right before it was the final few minutes of College Game Day at Wisconsin and the mascot head pick. He picks the badgers and there's nothing more than a dull roar. They pan out and there's almost no one there.

WISCONSIN. It looked like maybe 1/3 as many people as we had for our CGD. P5 fans are so jaded that they take everything for granted.

I agree, P5 fans are the worst... but in their defense... the game started at 11a. CGD shot from Bascom Hall which is about a 20 minute walk from Camp Randall Stadium. Badger fans are REALLY good about showing up early for games, especially touting a top 5 ranking and hosting top 25 Michigan.

If you've never been to a game at Camp Randall and see how they file the students in one by one filling every row in order, it's incredible! Totally worth getting to your seats 20 minutes early and watching it fill in so methodically.

I tried to find a time lapse video of the student section filling in, cause it is that cool... and instead found a video of the last game I attended at Camp Randall when Wisconsin hosted Miami (OH) for pre-conference MACtion.

the 4th quarter jump around (shown below) is worth staying for! My father-in-law always gets tickets for pre-conference Wisc games if anyone ever has a chance to visit Madison, hit me up!

Weather wasn't great at the Wisconsin game either. The CGD scene at Miami the week before was pretty impressive, though.

It's Wisconsin in November and it didn't look like a gorgeous day but would that be a sufficient excuse for us? We're only FCS...

Also, and I think this is a big factor, the Wisconsin/Michigan game started at 12. Anyone still at the set wouldnt get into the game until late 1st quarter

Game started at 11a locally. I said all of this above, but apparently, the only thing that matters is that it was 33 in November in Wisconsin.

33 in November in Wisconsin is like 50 in Hburg, trust me, shorts were probably found on a couple people!

So is Wisconsin the only school whose fans bother to show up before kickoff?

Yup.

I’ll readily admit, that’s some impressive schit.

Thanks for posting, never seen that, wow.

For Miami Oh! Nonetheless. Good on them!
