They do count toward our win total if it's not an exhibition. They do not count in RPI calculations. Which night be a good thing. If this team counted, the RPI would go down.

Team stats were not outstanding tonight, with the exception of eight blocked shots, twenty assists, fourteen fast break points, and getting the ball down the court to score every twelve seconds(that's pretty darn good). I'm glad to see that it doesn't take 30 seconds to even get a shot off like it seems the past few seasons have been like.

Gueye is impressing me with how quickly he can dispense fouls.

Jacksonville - 3 fouls in 8 minutes
Chattanooga - 5 fouls in 10 minutes
Tonight - 4 fouls in 12 minutes.

That's 12 fouls in 30 minutes of playing time. Almost a foul every two minutes. Incredible. He will be great when we play a team of bad free throw shooters.

Are they shooting fouls(fouling when they are shooting) or is he fouling when he is just defending and when they are not shooting(like bumping them when they are not shooting? Or are they offensive fouls?
Either way, he needs to get out of that funk real fast if he is going to become a much more proficient and effective inside player and defender as a freshman. Cokley has had a history of being a bit foul prone, as well.

This season Cokley has only 5 fouls in 77 minutes of playing time. Much improved, so far.

I'm sure we paid them a guarantee to come play us. It counts towards our win total, but doesn't get reflected in the RPI.

I wonder if he can compare with ASWs records of fouls/turnovers per minute?
