RE: 11/16 AAC Basketball Games
today and tomorrow will give us a real clue on how deep this league is..
odu should be NIT calibur team..a win tells us if they are the big turnaround people think they will be

tomorrow tulane vs csu, csu is a bubble team/nit team, if tulane wins there. we should have enough depth in this league..with only 2 for sure bad teams

3-0 would be great as it would assure Tulsa and Temple stay on the winners side of their brackets but I think 2-1 is more likely. Hope I'm wrong.

It's been a long time since Temple didn't have any players in the rotation that make me want to me cringe. For that reason, and our improved depth, I think we make a lot of noise this year and might even make a run for the AAC title.

I'm high on Temple and I think they are likely a tournament team, but AAC title talk--even if just wild speculation--is a TAD too early.

I completely agree! We need to prove we can beat ODU first. Temple bball has been such a bumbling enigma for so long! Until we step up nationally it's nothing more than hope....

Temple last won the AAC regular season title in 2016. When was the last time the Shockers won the AAC?

Get a season under your belt before you consider yourselves league experts.

In any event, the AAC is going to have their hands full with Temple this season.

I hope so. We need as many strong teams as possible.

Temple is looking good so far. up 38-26 late in the first period. I think the Owls are going to contend honestly but that is just my thoughts. I don't think anyone knew they were a little fish in the big Wichita St pond. Try not become shocker bait. They are busy polishing their old trophies from the MVC.

LOL get over yourself. Most of us Shocker fans do actually watch a LOT of basketball beyond our own team and league. After all, what else is there to do in Kansas...right?

Anyway, we have a right to our opinion just as you do. Even if it is our first year in the league.

Temple looks good. Too early to hand the AAC title over to them. The top of the league is pretty damn good. But they should be among the top 4 or so.

To put this year's Wichita State team in context, you certainly wouldn't use the AAC as a measuring stick. The top pundits are measuring us against the best in the nation. What happens in the AAC is irrelevant. We've been picked to run away with the title in this conference... anything less would be a major disappointment to those that matter.

The "national media" you're referring to are AAC head coaches
