I haven’t been on the board since our game against NW St. That was the worst college team I have ever seen. Just FYI, our freshmen are legit. Everyone can talk about Cincy and WSU all they want but SMU will not relinquish the title of AAC basketball king without a fight. I saw some of the Cincy game today and I’ll admit, I’m somewhat concerned.

RE: 11/16 AAC Basketball Games
Good day for the league. I'm excited to start watching some AAC basketball early tomorrow. There are lots of potential quality wins for our league.
As for WSU fans around here, we're just fire up, and I can promise you, no fanbase is more excited to actually start tipping it up against the AAC. I for one am a major fan of every AAC team and I would guess, I actually watch a lot more of your games than most of your fans.

Pirates need to rebound from last night's loss and look good in the process.

Temple last won the AAC regular season title in 2016. When was the last time the Shockers won the AAC?
Get a season under your belt before you consider yourselves league experts.
In any event, the AAC is going to have their hands full with Temple this season.
Dude, really? Are you really dangling as proof of your awesomeness your AAC title in 2016? The same year we beat Vanderbilt by 20 and Arizona by 10 in the NCAA tournament and you lost to Iowa in the first round? We don't need to have spent a year in the league to know anything about it. We know what it takes to beat quality opponents.
This is a quality conference with many quality teams. One of them is yours. Like I said, I expect Temple to surprise a lot of people and probably make the NCAA tournament. That's a compliment. But there's two top 15 teams, as well as another team that soon may be in the top 25 (SMU), that will have a lot to say as to whether you can win this conference.
Wichita, Kansas. The land of the disproportionate response.
Uh, try again. Denver.

If we shoot like we did in the first 10 minutes of that game, we will be world beaters this season. If we play like we did in the second half, we may only place 3rd or 4th in the AAC.

Hard to stay focused as these blowouts drag on. Better matchups coming.

We're in year 8 of "the process" and have yet to look good, respectable even.

The league is gonna be good this year. No one will run the table. Cincy, Wsu, Smu, UConn, Houston, Ucf, and Temple can get anyone on an opponent bad shooting night.

It will be interesting to see how the Shox stack up when they don’t play their A game. In the Valley, we would have some off nights but our defense was always good enough to bring home the W. Looking forward to a fun season.

A slight cause for concern though for UC as Jacob Evans left the game in the 2nd half with a hip injury. No clue on the severity yet but losing him for any significant amount of time would be a massive hit to UC.

One of the worst teams ever to play at Moody - 8 points at the half? SMU plays good defense, but NWST was just plain dreadful. I bet my Park Cities Church Basketball team from the late 80s could come out of retirement and give them a game ... at least until the ambulances arrive.

To tie this into the Jay Bilas topic, I remember them winning as a 14 seed against Iowa. Was probably around 10 years ago.
