Valley fans are still butthurt over how much we complained about certain schools complete unwillingness to compete in basketball. Welcome to Evansville status.

Stetson bangs a half court shot off the rim. USF hangs on for the road W. Good job Bulls.

The league is now 19-4 overall so far this season. No real signature wins, though.

RE: 11/15 AAC Basketball Games
Stetson barely misses a halfcourt buzzer beater to force OT and USF pulls off a 3 point win on the road.

USF has some good players. The three grad transfers Samuels, Banks, and Jiggetts all play composed and can hit shots. Da Silva is a freak of an athlete who will become more and more dangerous with time.

There's a big drop off in skill after those 4 players but their center Martin is pretty mobile and can give them solid minutes.

Valley fans are just butthurt in general. Banished to one-bid land forever and ever.

Yeah but seriously we were awful at the same time. I don't think the Demons scored for 14 straight minutes and I don't even think we were playing that great Defense-they were just inept. Played better in 2nd Half as we have in all 3 games. Right now we aren't a Top 50 team but we are baking a cake. When Akoy and MacMurray are added we'll have a nice 8 man rotation with a lot of upside potential from some freshman who are getting 15-20 minutes a game. Just going to sit back and relax and hopefully it comes together in March

That’s why they call themselves the Hatters.

Northwestern State lost by double digits at home to a Division II or Division III team the other night.

Tulane needs to beat Colorado State and Fordham in Montego Bay.

This would be a great time to return some value to the AAC - even though TV money is not really much to "carry".

RE: 11/15 AAC Basketball Games
Some of the tournament coming up the next two weeks are very important.

UC should be the heavy favorite to win the Cayman Islands Classic. Wichita the favorite to win Maui. Houston and Temple are both in more than winnable tournaments. Tulane has a couple winnable games. SMU will have a tough road in Atlantis, but has the chance for some really good wins.

I would say Tulsa's tournament is winnable, but...

UConn will need a miracle, but tournaments are where they have traditionally thrived. Will be hard for UCF as well with injuries.

But I expect UC and Wichita to win their tournaments. Chance to win a couple more.

I'm pretty sure you just insulted Evansville.
