Elliot Perry won ONE NCAAt game in four years. Memphis didn't make the NCAA's his junior or senior year. He didn't win a conference title in his four years. The last season, Memphis went 17-15.

And Perry was a top 10 recruit. Not top 40.

So, according to your standards, Perry had to be a huge disappointment.

Perry made the postseason. The Lawson boys didn't. And they had a better supporting cast.

Yes, the Lawsons had Rhykoek, Clergeot, Kessee, Randall, we should have been in the Final Four with them. Remarkable how posters can be critical of the Lawsons performance and not at all critical of Tubby's. Crazy.

So you are saying the Tub should have gone out and recruited when he was hired instead of taking a summer vacation? I agree with you on that.

How about recruiting your own player! The kid who you worked a lot with to change he shot, you invested time in the kid and let him walk? Without even talking to him about it?!? That still blows my mind. I think Crawford could have been talked into staying easily.

What you have said is that a top 38 recruit like Dedric didn't "live up to expectations" despite being the 4th most prolific Tigers frosh in scoring and 3rd best sophomore scorer. Same for rebounding. And was on pace to finish #2 in Tigers' history in scoring and rebounding.

Far exceeded the stat outputs of similarly ranked (#36-#42) Spoon, Shaq, Iverson, Jeff Robinson, and Nick King.

Even outperformed #10 Adonis Thomas and #25 Austin Nichols.

So, the question is: If Dedric didn't meet expectations, how do you characterize all of those above?

And with all that scoring, he couldn't help his team make the postseason.

Lawson Inc. didn't care about the Tigers. It was all about them.
