MyBB AAC Rankings - Week 1
We have a football one, so figured I'd start a basketball one.

AP Poll:
#6 WSU - Up 1
#12 Cincinnati - no movement

Others
SMU gained a point to 4
UCF fell out of the "others" category

Some voters of note:

Doug Doughty move WSU from #4 to #15 for a 52 point in while moving UK up a spot from #5 to #4 due to 2 almost losses.

Jerry Carino was very similar with Moving WSU from #3 to #7 but moving UK up multiple spots. He also moved Cinci down from 9 to 11

You know what is kinda funny Memphis fans were insufferable on the CUSA board back in the day this time of the year.....not hearing much of a peep from them now. Still we can all agree Louisville fans were the worst I have been associated with.

We're a football school now. Don't bother us with basketball. We'll recover eventually. Of course, I may be dead by then.

Here's a peep for you. We clobbered everyone back then and we earned the right. It was Memphis and the 11 dwarves. The gap between Memphis and the rest of that league was far greater than the gap between flavors of the day Cincy or Wichita and the rest of the AAC.

I bet 85% of Memphis Nation would approve of that hire.

Be honest with yourselves, the man knows how to coach. Does anybody think he's the only cheater in college basketball? If you do I'm 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

I assure you, 07-coffee3 did NOT want to fire him. They had no choice with their nether regions laid bare in the court of public opinion and the FBI waiting in the bushes.

If Memphis hired Coach-2 they'd be back in the Elite 8 in 4 years. So you've got to ask yourselves: How much is your soul worth?

That's actually true. This town has the highest restaurants per capita in the nation, and only a couple of places to get decent lasagna.

Wichita's seafood restaurants are the best...

We've got a hidden gem in a tiny suburb outside of Wichita. Some big name folks have frequented this quaint little establishment (Harrison Ford, etc.).

Pitino would approve.

Would this Shocker take Pitino if Gregg Marshall retired and there was no suitable replacement? I'd sure as **** take him over losing for a decade. I'd take him and his pedophile cousin.

Losing/irrelevance is worse than hell.

Quote:Luciano Mottola was born in Italy and grew up in Viareggio with his 6 brothers and sisters. After meeting the love of his life, he made the decision to follow her back to the USA in 2003.

While traveling to places in Colorado, Montana, Kansas & California, Luciano selected
Mulvane as his place to begin again.

The wheat fields and sunflowers reminded him of his home in Tuscany - a place where value is based on quality instead of quantity and simple beauty and elegance are a part of everyday life.

Consider visiting for dinner if you come to Wichita to follow your team to Koch Arena. It's a 30 min. drive from the doors of Koch Arena (mostly highway).
