They can vet all they want doesn’t change the fact chip has said he doesn’t want to go back. It even mentions they have to be sure chip has a mutual interest which implies they haven’t even spoken to him yet.

They're "looking into" Chip Kelly is a far cry from "at the very least it looks like Frost isn't going to UF."

If I'd been "looking into" Jennifer Lawrence as a potential new girlfriend, it wouldn't mean anything other than that my wife would laugh at me if I admitted it out loud.

Exactly and knowing chips ego he still thinks he can cut it in the nfl. Not to mention he sees that the texans are going to possibly have a vacancy soon and the possibility of coaching deshawn watson has to have him salivating.
