If Cincy hadn't gone to the BE or Memphis had gone with them, I think it would've blossomed into something.

It was probably at it's most heated from 2007-2010. Four CUSA championships in a row between the two programs. UCF fans were pissed we lost three in a row, ECU fans were pissed they weren't preseason Top 10 after a 9-5 season. Good times.

Yep, then the conference realignment battles between the posters here over who would go into the Big East were brutal - pure hatred. Then as soon as UCF got in, we were like, if you are taking more that’s the program. It worked out very strange.
