lol. I know you're being facetious but there's no way they get a two-point conversion.

On defense, USF gives up 19.9 points per game compared to UCF's 20.7
On offense, UCF scores 48.6 points per game compared to USF's 39.1
USF's defense might be slightly better than UCF's, but UCF's offense is a whole lot better than USF's.

Looking forward to this game. Finally a year where all the smack talk between UCF and USF fans is backed up by two quality teams on the field. It should literally be a War on I4. If I was not visiting family in Kentucky for Thanksgiving I would have made the 5 1/2 hr drive to Orlando to watch this game in person. I was at the UCF Houston game that went down to the last play. Stadium was insane that night and I expect this game will be the same. Going with my family ties to UCF and think based on what I have seen on the field from both this year that UCF will win this game by double digits

Here were the top games watched on last Black Friday
3:30 pm: Nebraska at Iowa on ABC: 2.4 TV Rating (4,169,000 Viewers) Same time slot and TV Network as UCF vs usf this year.
Noon: Houston at Memphis on ABC (AAC): 1.9 TV Rating (3.093,000 Viewers)
3:30 pm: Washington at Washington State on FOX: 1.7 TV Rating (2,818,000 Viewers)
2:30 pm: Arkansas at Missouri on CBS: 1.5 TV Rating (2,498,000 Viewers)
6:00 pm: Baylor vs Texas Tech in Arlington on ESPN (1,787,000 Viewers)
Others:
November 25, 2016 Arizona St. vs. Arizona (Pac-12) (ESPN) 1,672,000 Viewers
November 25, 2016 N.C. State vs. UNC (ACC) (ESPN) - 1,384,000 Viewers
November 25, 2016 TCU vs. Texas (Big 12) (FS1) - 986,000 Viewers
November 25, 2016 Toledo vs. W. Michigan (MAC) (ESPN2) 665,000 Viewers
8 pm November 25, 2016 Cincinnati vs. Tulsa (AAC) (ESPN2) - 526,000 Viewers
Kinda makes me wonder with those numbers, why did ESPN relegate this years Houston vs Memphis game to a Thursday night against the NFL and world series elimination game on top of the start of the NBA season. Seems as though ESPN has been putting most of our best match ups in worse than normal time slots or selling off to cbssn. Talk about ratings surppression.
Most games on Black Friday get very good ratings because of lack of competition (so few games going head to head) plus having basically a national holiday (i.e. most people have the day off).
ESPN still does ok on Thursday Night TV Ratings, even up against NFL...as that AAC game still averaged close to 600,000 viewers...which is why more than all ESPNews or ESPNU AAC Games on Saturdays.

UCF's defense is better than USF's defense, believe me. The level of offensive competition that UCF has faced (Memphis, Navy, SMU) is way better than anything that USF has faced (Houston).

What about two field goals and a safety?

Glad to have your support. I was at that Houston game too, in the student endzone. Never heard the stadium get that loud in my entire life.

Absolutely loving all of the exuberant overconfidence. Yes sir, USF doesn't belong on the same field with the mighty Knights, and there won't be any USF fans there at all...

USF can win big games, even against big time programs on national TV (see ND and FSU). However, history has shown that they are incapable of winning when it mattered most to them. Maybe that will change this time? Who knows.....but history is not on your side.

We shall see. My hope is that Strong is secretly still seething over losing out on that Fiesta Bowl bid at your hands from his Louisville days. There's been a school of thought that this coaching staff intentionally played conservative all year, and it was apparent pretty early that it would all come down to Black Friday (i.e. the "Uncle Milty - just pull out enough to win" approach, which bit them vs. Houston). I'm not buying it (see Strong's last game at Texas vs. Kansas, where he could have kept his job and blew it), but it seems pretty clear there's lots in the playbook that hasn't been shown yet.
Will USF win? I hope so and believe we can (though I'm far from confident). But I'm sure it's not going to be the laugher that many UCF fans seem to think...

Edited to add - is it really accurate to ascribe Leavitt's tendency to overprepare for early season big games and underprepare for later season conference games as a tendency for a program that's 3 head coaches and all new players away from that? Holtz' crappy recruiting cleared the decks of that malaise, and really, the only game Taggart should have won and didn't was @ Temple last year (largely because we didn't have a DC with a pulse). Point being, USF's played 1 game that "mattered most" since beating Notre Dame at the start of Skip's second season (with Leavitt's recruits). Not really a trend.

Yes, Strong has been playing conservative on purpose, despite the fact that it matches his entire body of work over the course of his entire career, because he wants to surprise UCF on Black Friday as retribution for the Louisville game four years ago.
It's a good thing you're not buying it, because that's g.d. insane
