That second play where UTSA threw it right to our defender was my personal favorite

Still amazes me that the UAB@UNT game decided the division. We were so close to playing in a championship. Would've been even more magical

The defense gave up 46 points that game, couldn’t hold UNT for 28 seconds after we tied the game, and the kickoff special teams didn’t help matters either. But who knew how important that game was for conference play?

Too much Erdely, but hey what can I say. Brown or Marino should've lead headlines.

First season back, and this team has already exceeded expectations. Nitpicking mistakes from year one is just foolish. This team could have won all it's games, but expecting them to do so is wasn't realistic. I love how the season went. They've grown and learned valuable lessons that will pay off next season and beyond. Now let's see if they can finish.

Very true. I find myself often thinking "what-if" (UNT, Charlotte, and playing Ball St again or later in the year). But then, I think "what-if" (LaTech had a kicker, MTSU drives for the win).
When those thoughts clear, and 7-3 comes into focus, I think, WOW!01-ncaabbs

Folks, just enjoy the ride!
Look what we've done: raised $40m+, new practice surfaces, new facilities, #theReturn, broke our attendance record, won our first game, won more than Vegas predicted (2.5), bowl eligibility, 7 wins... all in YEAR ONE. Go Blazers.

Future looks very bright.

More wins this year, bowl game, signed Clark to an extension, 3rd practice field getting installed in the spring, most key players back for next year's team.

I would expect that the FB Staff is readying for the Dec. JUCO recruiting period and the Feb. HS recruiting period. They can be far more selective in filling a fewer number of slots than the "all 22+" before.

How many of us last August would have taken an 8-4 first return season and been deliriously happy? Now some "experts" are suggesting a possible bowl game with FSU!!! How many saw that coming?
