Mississippi State loses to Alabama, and the AP rewards them by jumping Memphis.

Well, it was a loss in the last minute of the game. Given he fact that it was Alabama, even i think they are better today than i did yesterday.

We like Brent Axe, Syracuse, Dave Foster, Nashville, and Dave Reardon, Honolulu

We don't like Jon Wilner, Syracuse, Soren Petro, Kansas, or Sam McEwen, Omaha.

Our guys just need to care of business. If the Tigers win out the regular season, I think we will be 14th or 15th. If we win the AAC championship game, we will probably be just outside the Top 10 and headed to a New Year’s Day bowl game. Let that sink in.

Amazing. Simply incredible. If only this was selling seats in an OCS.

I think it'll help us. SMU lost several players to injury. They might be banged up while we will be rested and restored.

And IMO, moo state hung with the best team in the nation until the last minute. They are for real. I have no problem with their moving up. Long as UTK and the land sharks keep moving down. Bwahahaha.

Miss State really showed something on Saturday

Really wished they could have pulled it off

Punting on 4th and 4 inside the Bama 40 yard line was a costly mistake. I bet Mullen wishes he could go back on that one. Should have gone for it.

Punting is losing.

Sure, you punt when you're pinned deep, but you do NOT punt inside their 40.

EvilLore must not have watched the Bama-MissSt game. Nobody that did would be complaining about MSU jumping us.

Or maybe Alabama is not the greatest team to ever set foot on a football field.

There is that take on it

We got lots of Bammer fans here, so it doesn't surprise me. Even in my own family, everyone is a devout Memphis Tiger supporter... unless Bammer is playing.

I guess I'm wrong but, to me, a loss is a loss regardless of how well you played or the level of competition. I still contend Memphis should be ranked higher than Mississippi State with their 3 losses.
