Best small stadium in the country?

Me plus the wife. Stay tuned from the DC from those going...they're trying to get a tailgate or bar set up pregame for Dukes.

This game shouldnt be close, at any point in the game, Dukes win big and get some much meeded rest headed into our first true Championship Crown defense.

Elon (Last season 2-9/1-7 CAA)

According to the CAA's "12 Teams in 12 Days" preview, Elon returned 14 starters, 9 on offense, and 5 on defense. What sticks out here is last year vs JMU in the game notes they had on 1 senior starter listed on offense and 3 on defense, so they had 18 non senior starters listed. So looks like 4 non seniors that started last year didn't return. 1st team I've seen in the "12 Teams in 12 Days" previews that have had: "2016 All-Conference Players Returning: None".

What those caa only stats show is that Elon has improved as the season went along, but you can also argue that they had the much tougher OOC compared to us (they did).
Alternatively, we’ve been without our likely top RB for more games this season, including all of caa play. You could say their rushing offense stats are inflated due to that.

Rain in the forecast for Saturday at Elon, FWIW.

Taking the wife to Hawaii for her 50th B-day so will be on a jet Saturday. Hopefully I can pick the game up via the internet. Dukes should handle the Phoenix easily.

I hope you're right. It would be great to pull Schor and some of the other starters. Once the game is reasonably well in hand, there's no reason to risk injury.

I think we'll beat Elon handily, but they have a lot to play for, including revenge for the ridiculous smack-downs we'd laid on them.

Will the game be broadcast on the CAA.tv app, does anyone know? I'd imagine it would be but not sure?

The ETSU game is the lone game this season where we scored a TD on our first offensive drive. Three games we scored on the 2nd drive. Two we scored on the 3rd drive. One on the 4th drive. One on the 5th drive. Finally, two on the 6th drive. Very slow starting offense all season.

Thanks for taking the time to put this together. I have always preferred kicking off to start a game and receiving in the second half. Not only have we not been good at the beginning of the game, going 3 and out starts the field position battle in the other teams favor. As I seem to remember our very first punts have not been that good, ( I don't have the energy to check the play by plays, but that is my sense).

Maybe I'm crazy on this, but I feel like we've lost a lot of coin tosses this season. No idea how you'd look it up, but I can think of multiple occasions where we've lost and been forced on offense first.
