Headed out for the game. Thought I'd get this started. UTEP kind of ran it up on us last season. Could playback be on it's way? 05-stirthepot

UTEP led 7-0 after a long fumble return by the defense. The D will outscore our O in this game, by 7.

North Texas actually makes Marshall's offense look like a wide open scheme. Your offense may be the only one I've seen this year more plan vanilla than Marshall's. 03-lmfao

UTEP's defense is doing ok, offense sucks so bad... Kugler was such a fail with his O-line...

UTEP has a good secondary and the past few weeks have shown that if you're physical with our receivers then you can slow down our offense.

I want to say that UTEP's defense can play. I don't who you're losing to graduation but if you hire the right coach ... get a quarterback ... add a few key pieces ... and you could make a jump in wins next year as we did last season.

The UTEP secondary is really good. They were able to slow down North Texas in the first half. I think the North Texas defense played their best over-all conference game tonight against an obviously bad UTEP offense. Hate to say it, but I don't see how UTEP avoids an 0-12 season. Hope you guys can get a decent coach, just not one of ours.

Congrats to UNT on the big win. Our D got worn out by the lack of participation of our O and by your very good O. Also congrats on making the conference champ game.

As for next year for the Miners, 7 or 8 returning starters on defense with the biggest losses at linebacker. Also 7 starters back on offense but QB is a very sore spot and the next coach is going to have to recruit some transfer skill players that can contribute right away. If that happens then the Miners should win a few games to start the new era.

Coach Price mentioned in his press conference last week that UNT is terrific on offense since you hired a good coach that installed the latest offense and recruited well. A blueprint that UTEP needs to follow.

Miners are in a bad spot right now. North Texas fans know that ground well. Good news is a good hire and some luck can get you right back in it.

We were 1-11 two years ago, with one of those being a 50pt loss to an FCS. Two years later we are much better. No reason UTEP can't do the same.

I wish you luck. The more strong programs in CUSA the better it is for everyone.
