Anyone else planning on hanging out at Barleycorn's before/after games? I have an irrational hatred of heavy traffic.

However, concessions there are really good. Pretzel looked excellent, though I didnt have it. The Burger was probably the best sporting event burger I've ever had.

Braxton beer line at north end concourse was quick and easy.

Its not that bad.

Honestly, the most congestion I saw was due to the fact that most UC fans have never been on that campus and they have zero clue how to find the lot they are supposed to park in. Police were kindly acting as ushers most of the evening.

I saw more lost folks from the suburbs last night. I was one of them for a second because I had a Lot O pass and that one is a surface lot hidden behind BB&T next to the East Entrance.

I'm sure you're right about it not being too bad, but I grew up in an area where "traffic" meant there was a tractor in the road. My standards are a bit skewed. 03-lmfao

I hear ya. I drove from the farm to go to the game. If you saw a guy in the 1st row of floor seats last night with muddy boots, work jeans, and saw dust from the chainsaw on the blue flannel shirt, that was me.

My presence is my present. Not a fashion show.

Those are a company's seats so I'm only in them a couple times a year.

I might need to watch the ESPN3 feed to see if Eastside J and I were spilling our beers on the court.

It allows me to pick and choose what games interest me and/or which ones fit my schedule. I'm past the point of having to stress out about scheduling games around my life.

My guess is I will make it to about half of the 16 home games. The rest I will lounge on the couch with my mutts.

Life is too short. If it's stressful to get there or make it fit in to the rest of my life (or its just plain hard to watch ala football) I cross that one off the list that week. Easy peasy.

Sounds like we’ve reached the same point in life.

RE: Traffic To/From BB&T Arena
I was amazed at how slow the exit process was in the arena at the end of the game where 80% of the arena was already empty.. I don't remember it ever being like that for any other event I have attended there.. I'm hoping to make a few more games, but coming off 275 the lots they make you drive to are on the back side of campus.. not sure my wife with a lung disease can make that long of a trek easily. I will definitely have to change how I get there to get to a lot closer to the arena
