Good enough for me. Thats great to hear.

Anyone hear where this game ranked historically in terms of scoring? We put 111 on Hiram last year but that's a non D1 team. And we had 116 on CMU in the tournament but that was in OT. And the 65 points in the second half have to be close to a Kent record for points in a half.

OK - maybe it was a size difference, but De La Rosa has 20 points and 8 rebounds - in 13 minutes.

Great team win by KSU and hopefully a sign that this will be another great season.

They played well and for the 1st real game I was happy with performance. scoring 111 without hitting 15 3's and Duling having a donut is impressive. I like that there is at least 3 players on floor who can handle the ball. I doubt we get pressed to much after the way they broke the press Sat night.

Thursday is a glorified scrimmage, will hopefully see the same effort then and on Sunday

GO FLASHES!!!!!!!

RE: Kent State vs. Youngstown State
anti-zip, this is from the latest media guide I could find (last year's):

POINTS 1 . 119 St . Joseph’s (Ind .) 12/9/98 119 Wayne State 12/1/64 3 . 116 Cleveland State 12/17/03 116 Marshall 2/19/02 116 Delaware State 11/19/75

It doesn't say which were overtime or what division the opponent was, or the most for a half.

Through the miracle of ESPN, we can find that the 12/17/03 was a 116-66 smackdown of CSU in regulation. The 2/19/02 game was a MAC conference 116-76 obliteration of Marshall in the middle of Kent State's 20 game winning streak that ended in the NCAAs against Indiana.
