RE: Predict CUSA OOC record after Friday?
What's up with these ODU jackasses trying to tell us how we should run our program?

North Texas rofl-stomped Eureka 122-65. We will take ANY win after last year.

Led the entire game until 5.9 seconds left. We foul them on a three point attempt, they make all three.

We drive down the court, Miss a contested layup and then a wide open put back.

Didn't y'all lose a game like that last year. How in the world do you foul on a 3 at the end of a game??

Yeah, we lost a game in a similar manner to Texas Tech last year. I don’t exactly remember the details.

With regard to the foul, I’m not exactly sure!

Have you ever grazed someone’s hip passing them getting on an elevator? That’s how. It happens, both in life, and in basketball. You don’t often see it called a foul, though.

Down the stretch as Rice’s lead dwindled, fouls were called 9-1 in favor of EKU. The foul on the three was the only one of those I even *saw*.

In spite of all that, our FT shooting was horrid.
Exciting game to watch and this team has all the pieces to make a little noise this year. But painful at times and especially the last three minutes.

I know it as only Eureka, but it has been a long time since our basketball team has dominated anyone, so this has me optimistic about our season. 04-cheers

WKU can't spot good teams 22 points to start a game and expect to win, our game last night started 26-4 in favor of Missouri State. I am extremely proud of how our team fought back and got it down to 1 point multiple times and still had a chance to win with under a min to go. Our first game with all the new players and we started 3 freshman last night..... things look very promising, I think Missouri State was a pretty damn good team but ultimately was to veteran of a team right out of the gate for our young team.

RE: Predict CUSA OOC record after Friday?
Charlotte wins easily in their recorded exhibition opener against Methodist 116 - 76. Probably 6-9 freshman from Serbia, Milos Supica was the biggest surprise. Just starting practice this week after having a bought of mono he went 8-9 for 18 points in 13 minutes. Floor leader Jon Davis was 2 assists shy of a double double in 23 minutes of play. Another Serb freshman on the team is an interesting player because of his size. He is 6-8 guard Luka Vasic. He scored 10 last night in 19 minutes going 2-3 from beyond the arc.

The real test comes Monday night against OK State.

They do this at the start of every hoops season. They fancy themselves as hoops experts even though there’s virtually nothing in their hoops history to justify it.

Then Mediocre Jones does what he does best...be mediocre and 10 games into the season they drift away. Give them time.

Winners in bold

Trevecca Nazarene vs Middle Tennessee

Eureka vs North Texas

Florida Memorial vs FIU

Towson vs Old Dominion

Texas-Tyler vs Louisiana Tech

Methodist vs Charlotte

Jacksonville vs UAB

UT Martin vs Marshall

Eastern Kentucky vs Rice

Southern-New Orleans vs Southern Miss

Florida Atlantic vs South Florida

Missouri State vs Western Kentucky

Louisiana College vs UTEP

I think we go 10-3

WKU appears to have the toughest first game, I think we can pull it off. We had all summer to build team chemistry and these guys play damn hard

Well, apparently Eastern Kentucky is going to be pretty tough for Rice to beat according to MT Fan. Is WKU going to have a tougher time winning than they are?

Check the scoreboard jackazz

Hey dumbazz, I was using your predictions to show that there were other "toughest first games" besides WKU with Rice being one of them. There wasn't any hindsight "scoreboard" at that time. Now carry on being a jerk.
