The point I'm hoping you will see is that the failings of man don't have a party. Nor do less than honorable tactics used to win elections. Trying to assert that only one side of the political spectrum is complicit in such matters is a fools errand.

Their initial encounter has a lot of holes as well. Why was she not in school on that day? If it was to attend the divorce hearing, I would assume custody was at issue and she would have needed to be present in the courtroom. Also, why would the mother have felt the need to have someone "watch" her daughter outside? The girl was 14. Girls are babysitting other people's kids by this age. Moreover, this was the 70s--- parents didn't constantly have supervision over the children at all times like they do in this day and age.

Edit: I would add that as far as the other women mentioned in the article, even if it were true that he approached or dated them, they were of legal age. I would add that again we have to keep in mind it is the 1970s. Men often married 17-18 year old girls back then-- not to mention asked them out on a date.

The reporter was working on this article for over a year. With the Weinstein case? Everything is snowballing against any men in power as being perverts and sexually assault. People will believe the victims now, and this could hurt Roy Moore and Republicans could lose seats if he stays on the ballot.
