This is epic. It doesn't feel like that long ago when we looked up to UM every year prior to the 10-11 season. I remember us always getting out edged in every category. I recall going to a ccha playoff game at yost in 2006 and we were beaten 6-1. Michigan was far superior at moving the puck and skill. Now that we are in the NCHC those days are over. Thank god we aren't in the new WCHA. If we were would lose momentum and become and second tier program.

I think Andy should take UM up on a pair of games at Yost without a return trip so we could kick the **** out of them in their own crib. We should have done this over the last few years when Red bottomed out.
