Twitter Admits They Intend To Censor Real News Inconvenient To Alt-Left Narrative
Rep. quigley (d-IL) brings to the attention of twitter execs that the top tweet on the hashtag #NYCterrorattack linked to an Infowars story, "Imam: I warned de blasio about NYC terror, he was too busy bashing Trump".
He then asks the twitter exec what they're doing about fake news (even though the story is real news and correct), and the twitter exec OPENLY ADMITS that they are working on censoring what they find detrimental to the "user experience" (i.e. anything from alternative news that organically trends, because it's what is actually popular), and replacing it with MSM garbage (in this case, USA Today).
Rep. Stewart (R-UT) steps in and corrects Rep. quigley, explaining how the headline was both an element of fact and opinion -- none of which is "fake news" -- and asks the twitter exec how in the world they intend to identify so-called "fake news" without weaponizing/editorializing it in the political realm.
The twitter exec didn't have an answer.
WOW! These tech companies have to be reeled in, because this is going to get ugly. 1984 is right around the corner.
Forgive the dramatic music in the background, it's the only source I can find at the moment.

And you wonder why normal Americans are worried when the left is in power.
(Note, this is not a endorsement of Alex Jones. This is simply shining a lens on how a unpopular opinion leads to call from the left for government incarceration for that opinion. Disgusting.)

Even more so when it's verifiably true, yet called "fake news" by a petty, little b*tch congressman, because the mere fact that it was trending hurt his fee-fees.
