You're gonna have to list those games because that (no offense) doesn't really make much sense.
Memphis gets six games vs. the putrid combo of Tulane, ECU, and USF and has at least nine OOC home games vs. tomato cans.
That's 13 to 15 wins without even making an effort.
That's one way of looking at it. Another way of looking at it is that we were 19-13 last year and should field a roster that's significantly worse on paper.

Sure losses: (1-9)
Bama (21), Louisville (9), @Cincinnati (6), @UCF (28), Cincinnati (6), Wichita State (4), UCF (28), @SMU (63), @UConn (57), @Temple (62)
Probable losses: (1-2)
Houston (56), UConn (57), @Tulsa (105)
Toss ups: (3-2)
NKU (111), Mercer (108), Albany (97), LSU (91), Tulsa (105)
Probable wins: (5-1)
@UAB (165), Samford (118), Tulane (186), @Tulane (186), @ECU (184), ECU (184)
Sure wins: (7-0)
UALR (325), New Orleans (273), Bryant (303), Siena (254), Loyola MD (233), @USF (234), USF (234)
So total record is 17-14.
Worst case is 12-19. Best case 20-11
Most likely range is 15 to 17 wins. If I had to peg myself to a certain number I'd say 16-15.

Just my option but moral victories end after a coach's first year on the job
Pastner's first game was a moral victory. By year two it took a miracle run in the CUSA tournament to get in
I’m not into moral victories. I’m very competitive. I only WIN when I or we WIN. That being said it is possible that two good teams can play, one comes out on top the other takes the L and yet most rational people would consider both teams good.

So after months of incessant arguing about how Tubby is doing a great job and it is nonsense to think we won't be good...you have us losing to every single team on our schedule that has a pulse.
A good but not great team would win 22-23 games playing this schedule. I think we will be below average and I have us at 18 wins. You argue at every turn with anyone that says anything bad about Tubby and predict one more win than I do.
Ridiculous.

Agree. I’m pegging in at 17 wins. If there are no more curbstompings, even 15 wins will be a moral victory for this season, in my estimation.

I don't feel that way at all. The only thing that matters this season is to get us to next season. If we win 18 games, lose a lot of close games and play really well the last 10 games, that will be good enough.
It isn't reasonable to expect a team with no D1 experience to be able to close games, execute down the stretch, even really learn the offense or how to play defense the first half of the season.

17-14 is my prediction, as well. If we could somehow sneak into the NIT, I would consider it to be a very successful season, considering it’s a total rebuild year.

The key differences are that he expects us to win more games than me, and I think that if we don't count moral victories, we won't have much to celebrate the first half of the season.
With this group of players, if we are playing Wichita State, Cincinnati and Loserville close, that would be a huge win.

We have 7 of our top 10 players on the roster that will be gone after next season. I'm not sure how you can classify that as a "rebuild". Seems to me, no matter what we do, we will be rebuilding again soon.

Yea. The Neverending Rebuild boggles the mind. Fans won't come back till it's built. Build it and they will come.

Sacrilege!
In message board reality, every prediction matters.
When a poster is wrong, he may be forced to view an old quote, with a demand to admit his mistake. lol. Tigerscane is the most extreme example of this practice.
The thing to do is apologize in advance for any unintentional or intentional butthurt you might dole out.
Bottom line. It might be prudent to admit all mistakes in advance.
