Interesting. I don't see any other references to it being on Friday. Wouldn't be a bad idea though to try to avoid the Iron Bowl completely.

Both the Florida game and the UTEP game show as Saturday when I click that link (and change to week 11)

Looks like a glitch, but I think moving it to Friday would be a good idea.

Isn't that Thanksgiving week? According to publicity, that is one of the heaviest travel holidays in America. It may be difficult for an airline to free up a charter flight even 24 hours earlier than originally scheduled.

This game never should have been scheduled in Birmingham for the same Saturday as the Iron Bowl to begin with. Maybe someone in the AD's office can make a call to the conference and get it arranged for all future games on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
