Bill Clark - The Coach who saved a Program
Scott Adamson, former UAB sports editor and Post Herald reporter has retired from newspapers and started a website - adamsonmedia.com. He will probably have a lot of UAB content. His first column is about Bill Clark.
He's a great writer and funny guy. Give it a look.

I haven't brought him up in a while, and usually it would have been negative. Thanks Mackin, for making a good decision in your final year.

On a side note, that third practice field get built yet. I know the Pavilion and the one outdoor was built, but haven't seen where the 3rd field or the 2nd out door field was finished. It was my understanding that it would be completed by know.

I think it is going to be built after the season.

Thanks for the info, To my understanding, It was supposed to be started at the beginning of the season. Would of been cool to have the construction go on while the players practiced. To see what is being built. But anyway. As long as it gets built.

I believe the old football facilities will be removed to make way for the new field.

I feel the same way. I was totally deflated at that point.

Construction during the season would have been a distraction. Will be done after the season.
