I have a ROKU unit that I purchased earlier this year so I could get the Stadium channel hooked up to one of my TVs but don't use it very much. Where do I find CAA.TV among the program options?

I believe you can find it by searching for the channel in Roku. I admit it's been a while since I did it, last time was the Towson game last year. It's always easier if you know what you are looking for, so if you type in caa.tv to a search it will pull up for you.

here you go - https://channelstore.roku.com/details/117319

Whats annoying is just about every other conference has a roku channel. American East, WAC, AAC, The Mountain East Conference, even the NAIA has a channel.

So I was compelled to email them after I posted this and this is the response I got:

We appreciate you reaching out to us!

I have great news for you, the CUSA Roku app is currently in the process of being launched. Our developers have submitted the app and are awaiting approval from Roku.

Please let me know if there is anything else we can do for you!

Would that mean that if you have a ROKU account you could watch the CUSA games that would be broadcast on CUSA-TV for free instead of having to pay the monthly or yearly fee for CUSA-TV?

I don't know for sure, but my guess is that there would still be a fee. You just stream through the app on your TV instead of your laptop/computer.

I would assume, like Netflix, Hulu or Amazon, you would need to login to your account to access the content.

IMO They'd be smart to just make it free so more will watch. They would make it up on the backend with more ad revenue.

Would also be nice if an app was created that housed all of these conference apps in one package. I really don't want to have to download an app for every single league. And I would imagine most wouldn't.

The conferences probably have different developers and different deals for them to do that I would guess. Otherwise I agree. I'm just glad its happening for CUSA.

I'm sure the contracts would make it unlikely but it would be an amazing app. Just check out the conferences SideArm has deals with;

The Towson game is still not listed on CUSA.tv. For those who have used the service in the past, when does it usually show up? I don't want to buy the service and then the game not be shown.

Yeah, the G5 should really band together and create one app similar to ESPN's app that curates all of the G5 streaming services and charges a single fee to access all of the content.

One thing I have not seen mentioned about the exhibition game against CNU is that Jeff Jones sat down the entire game. Now, is that because it was an exhibition game or is he trying to change his character a little? We all know his tendency in the past has been to stand the whole game and call plays or yell at players if they make a bad play. The only time I saw him stand in the exhibition is when a player was coming off the court and he wanted to "coach him up". It will be interesting to see what his sideline demeanor will be during the regular season. I had a feeling that he was trying to show his seasoned veterans ( we did start 2 seniors and 3 juniors) that he had faith in what they were doing.

Yes. He also did not explode on anyone for a bad shot or a bad play. He clapped after Hueitt unleashed his third three of the game, and missed.

At one point JJ pulled Godwin for (what I presume was) a missed defensive assignment, and then immediately re-inserted him. It did not look to me like an ass-chewing session, but I sit too distant to know for sure.

Glad to hear that JJ could be attempting to adapt to the current player and todays game. Defense is important but kids want to score, nice that he is encouraging more offense.

Every 3 Hueitt took was a good shot.

MBB Game 1 - Towson 11/10 7:00
Perhaps it’s because we’re bringing the hall up the court more quickly and running less set pieces. I️ suppose we’ll get a little more of a true taste tonight.

Kids want to win more than you think. Hopefully there is a nice balance between good defense and getting out in transition more.

All you people doubting the pace change...

This morning the over/under was at 122 and has jumped 20.5 points during the course of the day. It is now at 142.5.

Razor you were calling for everyone to put their money where their mouth is...now is your chance to do the same.
