Thanks for the info. Kinda figured that might have been the reason why but I was not certain.

I had to check online to make sure this was correct. It is indeed correct. On RU's court. Thanks '71, best news I've heard all day! 04-cheers

RU fans spending 2-3 pages of board forum talking about our "poor attendance" that even if accurate (it's not) is 50% more than their entire stadium even holds, is RICH. I guess if you can't win on the field you attack attendance, but we're even #1 at that, so not sure what they are getting at.

You can rewatch it on Madizone and see for yourself, but I'd say butts in the seats about mid 2nd quarter (typically when everyone is there who's coming), I'd say about 21K. The upper deck in the collar and at the other end close to the APC were about the only areas not sold, accounting for about 2K then another 2K empty seats spread around the remainder of the stadium. Start of game was typical and a lot not in the stadium yet. End of game was typical as well, many were gone by the start of the fourth.

The Richmond Times Dispatch reads that it was 24,586. Don't they get that number from scanned tickets when you go in? We were so loud that UR had a lot of false starts.

Sorry to take so long to get your answer, but that number is tickets sold. Once the playoffs get here we change to tickets scanned.

The better team won that game, but a 10 pt victory doesn't really = getting the tar beat out of them.

Hopefully we'll all get to see a Dukes/Bison natty.

Regarding those that leave early to beat the traffic....Stay to the end of the game, watch the alma mater, MRD's playing all we do is win. Then catch the MRD's post game show. It may add 30 min to your day but when you leave, chances are you will get invited to a few post game tailgate parties and even if you pass on making some new friends, there is absolutely no traffic. I'm guessing there's probably 500-1500 people that take in the post game festivities.

As a side note for those that leave early because they are cold, move to the student side. The concrete seems to hold some heat from being in the sun. However that are hot all heck during those Sept/Oct games.

This is about a true as it can get...NO TRAFFIC!
I have walked many a times up from our friends Godwin tailgate with my handtruck and cooler thru the tunnel to my space at lower convo only to find a few dozen if that cars left and I can jump right back out on the interstate only to catch 1 traffic light...from the time i leave godwin till i get to woodstock less than 1 hr....(includes the walk)

In addition to the overall and CAA winning streak, with the win over RU JMU now has a 2 or more game winning streak vs. every other CAA team.

W&M 11 of 14 surprises me... I feel like at face value that matchup is more 50/50. #14 is sweet sweet payback for #15 though.

Yeah, I had URI at 7 because was looking at the game notes and forgot to add 2 weeks ago. Also for some reason had Maine at 2 instead of 3. Fixed it.
