ULM-FSU back on?
If I were ULM I would say

Sure we will reschedule

1) We get the full payout
2) The game is played at our stadium

If FSU can't get bowl eligible, there is no way they play this game.

And right now, it doesn't look like they can get bowl eligible. They are terrible, more then just an injured QB. That is a bad team.

They’re supposedly announcing this week if it’s happening. It’s alledgedly a done deal but we weren’t allowed to announce till FSU does. We want the game. We need the pay out and part of the reason players come to ULM is to play against powerhouse schools.

And it least they aren’t very good this year. Gives us a very, very outside shot out at a bowl if we can get some turnovers and out score them or the most likely scenario is we get a $1.35 million payday and can treat it like a bowl team against a not very good ACC team with a name. Gets our young team more experience and more practices. My guess is them beating Syracuse gets us the game because they have a chance to get bowl eligible and not break their bowl streak.

A shot a Florida State while they're falling apart? Definitely would want that shot.

Agreed. We do. I think we can score against them. Stopping them is the problem. Hopefully their frosh QB will throw some picks, etc.

Yeah we need the extra work for our 2018 season. Even if we get spanked the young guys will get another top program to play against and get us more comfortable for Texas AM and Ole Piss next year.

If thats what it took FSU would invent an excuse to play there
"Oh our stadium is undergoing maintenance"

FSU holds the cards, not ULM
