we probably lose to KSU because we play down to our FCS opponents lol

I don't know who KSU loses, but they're 8-1 right now, in line for the playoffs, and they won't roll over for anyone.

Thanks, you just made me dread the beginning of the 2018 season (followed immediately by NC State, Memphis and Western Michigan...that's a hell of a non-conference schedule).

I feel pretty comfortable with our defense playing those teams. Problem is....can our offense finally become explosive with the new stud pro-style QB Jack Walker (this kid can throw!) and more experienced WR group led by Hart? I keep hearing OC Trickett is an offensive genius but we are playing with a limited playbook this year (maybe to limit Manning's tendency to force passes and throw interceptions)

I really think Manning just isn't that good.

He'd be a serviceable backup, but he's not going to be THE guy like what ya'll had in Arbuckle.

Although, until ya'll figure out how to run the ball with some kind of consistency, you will definitely be limited.

I agree wih ya 100%. Manning is a game manager at best. Thankfully he is a senior and will move on after this season. Same sentiment for Kyler Neal

Also our OL....CSE recruited 6'10 300+lbs guys but why are they sitting on bench? Letting our seniors play out this season?

2. Troy - take care of business till last game.
3. ULM - thank you!
4. Ga State - struggled vs. Ga So but did what it needed to do.
5. App St - no defense vs. ULM...close wins caught up to them.
6. NMSU - made it harder than necessary vs. TX St but did what it needed to.
7. ULL - who's the QB this week? Did what was necessary vs. USA.
8. USA - who's the QB this week? Didn't do what was necessary this week.
9. Idaho - no QB
10. Coastal - I would rank them higher but they blew it.
11. Tx State - played tough vs. NMSU but still a loss
12. Ga So. - oh my!
Just an aside...

ULM is 4-5 and lost to us.

Yes that's true but on this Saturday they beat no. 1 and you guys struggled vs a winless Ga So. You guys had to pull it out in the last few minutes. Probably by the end of the year and taking the whole season into consideration....yeah Ga St is better but at least for this past Saturday ULM was awesome!

You're bad at ranking things.

I think what he means is that power rankings supposed to look at the whole season. A good indicator would be, "would team A likely beat team B if they face each other (again in some cases)?"

that said, I don't care if Georgia State is 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th. We just need to beat App State and run the table. 8-3 would be quite a statement to ourselves and others in G5.

The point of my "ranking" was really to give ULM a pat on the back for a big win. I didn't move Ga State down...I moved App down and moved ULM up. I fully expect ULM to move down just because of how their season will finish...@ Auburn, AstAte and possibly at Florida State. But at least I recognized them for a heck of win over App St.
