Look, I'm not claiming Coach Brown was a saint. He had his shortcomings, and maybe he did some bad things. He certainly made some mistakes.

But it is easy for me to believe that after he left, someone told a story on him to make him the scapegoat for the inappropriate actions of the BOT.

What is the actual truth about him? I'm not sure that any of us know exactly. But I believe he was not nearly as bad as he has often been portrayed. Yet, he certainly could have been better than he was, and he definitely had some things go poorly under his watch.

But he says he loves UAB, and he supports Bill Clark. So, I believe that is true.

I guess everyone forgot about when Brown screwed Pat Sullivan over concerning the MTSU job. After that happened I lost all respect for the man and will believe NOTHING he says about himself.
