Good teams find ways to win. UNT has won four conference games by 3, 3, 7, and 1 points. The loss to FAU aside, hats off on what's been an exciting and successful season so far for y'all.

I thought LA Tech had a solid defensive game plan today. More then anything. I think Smith has accuracy issues, and that probably hurt the Tech offense more then anything. Good luck with the remainder of your season. I hope the Dawgs make it to a bowl. I would really love for 9 or 10 C-USA teams to go bowling.

La Tech did a lot of pressing on our receivers who did not handle it well. They also protected the deep pass to make us work underneath. They were counting on us not being able to grind out a long drive. Fortunately, our running game did enough.

Hopefully your recruiting continues to suck because a top CUSA class coupled with Litrell's offense is not something I would look forward to.

Thanks, but we have not wrapped it up yet. I'm sure Rice and UTEP would love to close out their down years on high notes.

We have been harping on Littrell's recruiting since last season. This season, our recruiting has improved. I think 247 had us ranked 6th or 7th in C-USA. I hope by signing day we move up inside the top 5.

Lot of criticism for Holt and bulldogs, but I thought with the number of injuries your team has; they played very well.

La Tech shut down NT's offense about as well as anyone this year. It is hard to lose close games like La Tech has this year, but I guarantee you it could be a lot worse.

Good luck against FAU

Thanks. In most of those wins our defense didn't play very well. Today, I think their performance was the difference in the score. If you told me before the game that LA Tech's defense would hold us to 24 points, I would have expected us to lose by 10.

thanks...it's a hell of a lot more fun to win those close ones than lose them...

Under Seth Littrell, UNT is 6-1 in games decided by 8 or less points (one possession games). I think we're overachieving a bit based on our talent level and youth but we're finding ways to win.

Good game UNT, though I've been absent these past few weeks, I know y'all don't talk as much trash as others. Good luck the rest of the season.

They were starting to get snippy, but FAU smacked the **** out of them.

Good win, MG.

Yeah, the FAU game was a giant elephant dart of humility for some of our more chippy posters. I'm glad we pulled out the win.

UNT hung around and show heart at the end to win the game. I think Fine will improve to be one of the better QB's in CUSA

I'm so damn impressed with NT's offense. Being that this game had a bearing on the division standings, I watched some of it on Stadium Sports-Live while at Legion Field cheering UAB on against Rice. I can't recall, who was that UNT went 98 yards on in less than a minute with no timeouts left in the game?

Good game NT. Y'all deserved to win. These one point losses (and OT) are taking a toll on our fans and our team.

Our offensive line has been a problem all year, but NT whipped them like nobody's business. I was actually pretty impressed with how well we did versus the pressure they were getting. Smith has accuracy problems but I think a lot of that is because he is immediately running for his life after the snap. Even when they do block he is ready to scramble and a little surprised. Same thing for the run game. Most of our gains were from individual effort by the RB.

FAU is looking like a L at this point. Going to need to beat UTEP and find a way to beat UTSA to get to 6. Not an easy task for us at this point.
