Looking at the baseball schedule released today, I note in our three game series versus Fullerton and Arizona State, we will play Friday and Sunday at Turchin, but Saturday at Zephyr. What do you guys think about Saturdays at Zephyr?
I guess they're hoping for a larger-than-Turchin turnout given the stature of the opponents. If that's the case, why not play all three at Zephyr? I don't think it's the end of the world, I just think we should play at Turchin when we can. We're tough there.

I think it could be a good marketing move.
Not everybody can go to two or three baseball games in a weekend, but most can find the time to go to one. I'm sure they'll market the games at Zephyr as a special events for people who don't normally go to the games. On Saturday afternoon with good weather, I could see a crowd of 5-6,000 for us vs the national champs.

I like the schedule. The 2 Saturday games would offer an opportunity for people outside of Uptown New Orleans to see us against top notch competition. It's also a great recruiting tool.
What I particularly like about the schedule is the fact that 5 of the top 6 CUSA teams on our schedule come to The Turch. The only conference team we play on the road that we haven't totally dominated in the last few years is USM, but we usually play well there anyway.
The way the schedule is set up, we should clinch a regional before the conference tournament.
