Ball State just took down Western Kentucky 93-81---this is the same WK team that handed the Lady Rockets a double digit loss earlier this season-----the MAC woman appear to have a number of strong teams this year.

The final score is not indicative of the level of dominance in this game by Ball State. They led by 20-25 points for most of the second half. Went into a stall with a couple of minutes left resulting in several turnovers which led to some easy Western Kentucky baskets. Western Kentucky was completely overwhelmed by Ball State in this game. If the comparative outcomes against Western Kentucky are reflective of the competitive levels for Ball State and Toledo we will have bigtime problems containing their offense. They also had something like 8 blocks against WK. And their point guard has double digit assists in each of the last four games. She is second nationally at 9.6 assists/game!

And looking at the MAC teams, looks like the non-conference schedule is over for everybody except for Toledo's next opponent. Ohio hosts North Carolina A&T on Thursday, December 28th before hosting the Rockets on New Year's Eve. Hope the long layoff doesn't hurt Toledo.
