You have to fix the Advertisers. Far to much influence. They control both local and national media narrative. That media group control how much teams get paid which in turn control the players. You can’t blame the media outlet for catering to the mouth that feeds them. It’s really up to the consumer because the advertising companies and the clients they represent are very, very good at their job.
What strikes me is that some of these influential companies have owners and employees who are no better and do the same things as the players and coaches on the field! They just have $.

NFL doesn't need to be fixed via advertising, its employees need to remember their job is to entertain not be political.

In no way was this thread about Russia. It does have to do about money and influence. I, in no way, was making correlation to Russia and Advertisers.

Nothing wrong with the NFL. If you don't like the what they are doing, then watch something else on Sunday.

It’s a good point. This isn’t the old NFL. It really is good advice.

I think sports in general are on a downward trend. Console and computer gaming are more attractive to kids and young adults. IMO.

Somewhat, but I'd say music is a big alternative to teens/young adults too.
