Damn. Charlotte takes the lead, 1-0 at the '87 mark.

01-rivals

So much for hosting.

From what I could tell on Gametracker, it was a very frustrating game. Lots of shots, nothing to show for them.

Charlotte wins. Not sure if being regular season champs will be enough to host a first round game.

Charlotte won the CUSA tournament last year.

Host? This loss will make our RPI be on the bubble probably no?

I’d like to think we’ve still got a solid shot at a bid but our RPI was already on the bubble.

The 2017 NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Championship bracket will be announced the Monday prior to the first-round of competition.

First Round | November 10, 11 or 12, 2017
Thirty-two, two-team First Round games will be conducted at non-predetermined campus sites. The winning team from each game will advance to the second round.

Why is "two-team" in there? Is there some soccer variant with a square field, four teams, four goals, and two balls?

As opposed to a four-team first round, like in baseball.

North Texas and Charlotte went to PKs in the championship game. North Texas won, 3-1.

RE: Soccer - CUSA Tournament
Based on a pseudo RPI site I found, it looks like our RPI rank will be about 36. Given our regular season conference title, I think we still have a small chance to host a game. Announcement is later today.
