SMU is a good team. I like there QB, and he is throwing to two receivers that will playing in the NFL...very soon.

Lack of a defense is an issue

I thought Navy was the game that scared everyone? Or was it Memphis? Or perhaps FIU?

Maybe it was the Spring Game that scared everyone.

No one expected where we are now. It is a great place to be.....but, four games to go. Let’s finish strong. The AAC is legit.

I am expecting this to be a high scoring affair. First one to 50 wins, which I suspect will be UCF.

We have 3 very losable games on the way to access bowl. Bottom line is we can lose SMU then win out and we are fine. We can not lose USF nor Memphis rematch.

Quick rant... It is amazing to see us competitive in football and basketball on a national level at the same time. We have never experienced this. I remember the Independent and MAC days and the TAAC/ASun. I remember playing UConn as a 15 Seed when they were kicking a$$ in the Big East and we’re beating Gardner-Webb. We have built something and it’s so cool to see where we are now. The day of the Big 3 in Florida is ending. UCF and USF are legit. Go AAC.

This sets up eerily similar to last year with the Coogs ranked around 15th, and all the Tom Herman discussion to LSU and UT started to gain momentum.

Of course the Coog Fans denied and denounced. "Why would he leave?", "Not about money", "He can build something here", etc.etc blah, blah ,blah.

We go into SMU and get boatraced. Unmotivated effort.

Team was never the same after that, until CTH had to beat UL to get back in the national consciousness.

I feel for you UCF. The AAC is much better when you guys are good. Our NY6 Bretheren.

We have six good teams. UCF, USF, Memphis, Navy, SMU, Houston. Half of our Conference are legit, possible ranked teams. This is fun.

SMU has the #14 passing offense. They're like Memphis with a worse defense. We killed Memphis so SMU should be easy, right?

Not so fast my friend. That Memphis game was probably the best performance from our defense all season. They've been depending on the O to outscore opponents since then. Fortunately our O scores on almost every drive, but SMU might be able to keep up and make this a shootout.

Scares you? Screw that. Its a big game period...

Not worried about it.

Memphis is the best team in the West and we already smacked them up.

Both UCF and SMU have the distraction of there coach being poached.

UCF has the best QB in the conference and maybe even the nation. Should be a good game but I expect the Knights to win.

If the defense keeps trying to make sportscenter hits instead of tackling people, it will be a fun, high scoring game to watch.

Last time UCF fielded a great team at SMU..........it was the ice bowl. Talk about night and day this go around.

Dude... when you're trying to go undefeated and have so much on the line... every game is scary, lol.

In December 2010, UCF was nationally ranked in the Top 25 in football, basketball, and baseball. So, at least, I have experienced this.
