We have never lost a game where I started a game thread so its time to boost my record.

This game is a game I'm more nervous for because we are expected to win. I don't think I can handle a loss to Charlotte at this point.

Charlotte has been awful all year outside of the FIU and UAB games. They are pretty similar to how they've always been......a running team. They have not been able to pass the ball a lick (Much worse than us). BUt, they have had a strong running game than we have had (lesser competition) and that is a huge concern. They give up some sacks as well and don't sack the QB so that should help our offense.

Their defense is a step down from our defense and we should be able to move the ball like we have the past 2 weeks. Their pass defense is particularly awful giving up a 69% completion percentage and 8.1 yards per pass. (we are 61% and 7.9, for example).

This comes down to if we can stop the run. Force them to throw the ball. On offense, we have to finish drives, we should be able to move the ball, but we need to get in the end zone and not stall out in the red zone.

45-24 Monarchs.

ODU is going to dominate Charlotte. If we don't, someone needs to be fired.

Does this include the passes we complete to the other team?

Well even if we stop their run. We still have to defend the pass and not consistently give the other team 8 yards a play and then give up 40 yard wide open deep passes.

Giles, then dude where have you been the last six weeks. You had one job!!!

Eventually it will all come together for this team and I almost feel sorry for the team that happens too, almost. ODU 35, Charlotte 17

ODU has to win this one, if for nothing other than pride. I'm thinking we finally get a win and going with ODU 30 UNCC 23.

We are close. The last two weeks, I think confidence (players and coaches) has been as big a problem as anything on the field. We expected to lose, and we found a way to do just that. We have gotten better each of the last 3 weeks, however, and I think this is the week we break through. Give this team some confidence, and I think we might be pleasantly surprised by how we finish the season.

I remember receiving an email about how the tailgate lots would open early this weekend due to the parade. Does anyone know the time you can enter the lots and the block of time they'll be blocked off?

Got an email from The DAF yesterday:

Lots open at 10:00 AM.
Lots close at 11:00 AM for the parade.
Lots reopen at noon.
