@130 teams, counting Notre Dame as P5, it's evenly split 65-65.

That means of the Top Half (top 65):

49 P5
16 G5

And only 16 P5s in the Bottom Half (bottom 65) -- which averages 3 a P5 conference + 2 P5 Confs having 4 (since ND isn't bottom-half this year).

MAC is only 1 behind the MWC and equals CUSA & Sunbelt combined. Impressive that of the top half, 1/4 are from non power big $ conferences. An amazing accomplishment considering the disparity in athletic budgets in an expensive sport

Considering the vast budget disparities between typical P5 and G5 programs in the most expensive collegiate sport, the fact that 1/4 of the top 63 are G5 programs is astonishing to me.
