If I recall correctly, URI tried to leave the conference due to the disparity in resources, but Yeager begged them to come back after ODU announced they were leaving.
Not quite...
URI did announce they were leaving - they even reached an agreement with the NEC and started dialing back their scholarship numbers.) (NEC is not full scholly.) The biggest reason they were leaving was because the New England/NY teams had been leaving (UMass and UConn moving up and BU, Northeastern, and Hofstra shutting down). Also, URI was sucking.
So they figured that a move to the NEC was the best option - less expenses and more regional rivals...until Albany and Stony Brook - two of the strongest NEC teams - announced they were heading to the CAA. URI immediately got the CAA to withdraw their resignation - but of course, their recruiting had already taken a huge hit since they were aiming for fewer and lower-caliber players.
SBU actually left the Big South to join the CAA. They left the NEC in 06’, were Indy in 07’, then Big South 08’-12’.
In addition, they were the class of the Big South closely followed by Liberty.

LOL, “hear and see the post game” ?
We could barely hear and see the actual game this week! Seriously doubt URI makes a real post game production.

The JMU post game interviews are here, you might try to Rhode Island's football page for theirs.

RE: JMU at Rhode Island Thread
Just got home from the Burg after watching the WBB exhibition game. Drove there after being at the URI game Saturday. Great win for the Dukes. Everyone at URI was very friendly and helpful. Got a peek inside the Ryan Center Arena, very nice facility. Very disappointed by the URI fan turnout, place was half full at the most. Great Purple turnout. Gunnar Kane and his girlfriend sat next to my wife and I and we had a nice chat with them. He is doing well and misses being with the guys.
Thought URI played well and tough for the 1st half but the Dukes just wore them down in the 2nd half as we have seen just about all year. Was great to finally see Schor connect with Kloosterman on that little short pass up the middle for a TD. Taylor Woods and Percy both ran very well.
Any update on any injuries etc from the game?

Or carry-over from prior weeks, e.g. Gus Little #3?
