If we don't figure a running game I wonder if we beat USA much less Troy.

Red Wolves improve to 4-0 to remain tied with our friends from the Mountains. Week off next week before another difficult road trip awaits at South Alabama.

You know, the odd thing is, no matter how bad we looked. We still won by 16 points over a team both App and Troy really struggled with. (Troy had to make a defensive stop to win)

South doesn't have the offense NMSU does, but the defense is better, Will be interesting to say the least. Hopefully we don't get caught looking ahead.

Hansen breaks the school record for TD passes in a season tonight. With 4 Regular season games left plus a bowl.

I believe we beat them both, probably by 10+ points.

Only concern I have is that we can't play like we did in the first half tonight against Troy. They are good enough, especially defensively to cause all sorts of problems.

Of course, we'd beat everyone in the league by 3 TD's or more the way we played 2nd half.

Javon Roland Jones is now 2nd in FBS for career sacks. Terrell Suggs record is clearly in sight.

I think I read he has 38.5 career sacks.

That's what I counted, but he may have gotten 2 and a half.

Rate he's going, he'll pass Suggs against Troy.

Yeah 2.5 tonight. Needs 5.5 in 5 games to break the record.

And a very fragile Texas State offensive line left, plus Dallas Davis aint exactly fleet a foot.

Congrats to NMSU for holding us at bay for 3 quarters. Glad we flipped the switch in time to widen the gap and make it look better than it was.

Had Blake not tried to coast, we might have extended that score.

Yes, but at that point we knew it was over. He was ready to just run the clock out and go home. Last thing we wanted was to try a pass and get Hansen killed.
