Some JFK documents still held
Reading the article, it looks like Trump gave the agencies 180 days on about 800 of the 3600 (per FOIA request) remaining documents. 2800 were released today. CIA has admitted it withheld information from the Warren Commission per the article. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/tru...549a31c4c1

RE: Some JFK documents still held
I'm sorry, did ANYONE actually think ALL of the JFK files would actually be released?

Not a chance. Won't happen. I'm 36. My parents were alive when that happened. There's no way anyone from that generation will still be alive when ALL the files are released. We'll be lucky if my generation will be.

Was Ted Cruz's father responsible for the shooting?

Some JFK documents still held
Congress passed the law 25 years ago. They've had plenty of time to make objections to release. But they wait until the last minute?

What could possibly be in there with relevance to National Security today?

Sources and methods.
They've had 25 years to determine if these reveal sources and methods in use in 1963 that are still in use.

Here's one for the conspiracy buffs:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/worl...805893001/

"Twenty-five minutes before John F. Kennedy was assassinated, a British newspaper received an anonymous tip about "some big news" in the United States, according to the trove of more than 2,800 documents released late Thursday by the National Archives....

The Cambridge News noted in a story Friday that it too did not know the name of the reporter who took the call, although it said the existence of the memo was first discovered by a lawyer, Michael Eddowes, who devoted much of his life to investigating the mystery surrounding Kennedy's death.
Eddowes, who died in 1992, told the Cambridge News in 1981 that he believed the anonymous caller was a British-born Soviet agent named Albert Osborne.
Two months before Kennedy's assassination, Eddowes believed that Osborne, who also apparently used the alias John Howard Bowen, had befriended Lee Harvey Oswald, the man ultimately charged with murdering Kennedy...."

Vladimir Putin was 11 when JFK was whacked. It is possible.

I still think that the fatal shot came from a secret service agent.

People will go to extraordinary lengths to hide the fact that a committed communist killed President Kennedy.

88% of everything has been released prior today. More today. I doubt 100% of any event of this magnitude is ever released. No conspiracies here.
