Trump JR admitted that there was that meeting. So, Manafort (going down for money laundering), and Michael Flynn (liar) all were in that meeting.
Who cares about that meeting? There was nothing illegal or unethical about it.
It is against campaign rules to have a meeting to get dirt on your opposition from somebody outside this country who are part of another Government.
Its against campaign finance laws to claim $9 million of commissioned opposition research fraudulently under legal fees.

Who was Manafort working for?
Quote:While media reports describe former "Black, Manafort & Stone" principal Paul Manafort as Trump's main tie to the investigation, the source said it is Manafort's role as a liaison between Russia and the Podesta Group that is drawing the scrutiny.

Yet, iyou guys wave Pom poms like a Jv cheerleader trying to impress to make it to the Varsity squad. You guys haven’t had one shred of evidence to back up any of your claims.
Just sayin
Black is white
War is peace
Sure she did, or at least her campaign did. And as she has said, the DNC was broke, she had to lend THEM money. You don’t think she knew where that was being spent?
8+, maybe 9 million or more of her own funds?
To go to this Steele character, who incidentally won’t endorse his own work lol, to get together with his buddies in both the ROOOSKIE!!! And Ukraine governments to make this schit up?
"...So defamatory were the dossier’s claims, though, that Clinton herself wouldn’t publicize them. Instead her campaign operatives pitched the allegations to reporters as if the dossier were a thing they had been given rather than a report they had ordered up. Or to put it bluntly: Someone in the Clinton campaign knew the dossier might contain lies and wasn’t prepared to defend those lies but was happy to see if American reporters were sufficiently gullible to print them. It’s nice to report that they were for the most part wrong until BuzzFeed showed its true colors and ran with it just before Trump’s inauguration.
For sleaziness and sheer corrupt stupidity, the episode matches the meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and the “Russian government attorney” Natalia Veselnitskaya. It’s also a nice reminder that in 2016 Americans had a choice between the worst and the even worse...."
"...We’re guaranteed several more rounds of Clinton revelations and Clinton denials—ugly disclosures about the power couple’s dealings, accompanied by smug disavowals and impatient claims that it’s all old news. But we don’t buy the line, used by the Clintons’ many defenders, that Hillary lost the election and isn’t important anymore and why can’t her critics just let this go? The argument that a politician’s illegal and unethical behavior ceases to be relevant when he or she loses an election is deeply cynical. During the 2016 campaign, Clinton’s supporters argued that she was well equipped for office precisely because she had been in public life for more than two-and-a-half decades: as first lady, senator, and secretary of state.
Still, we can’t help sympathizing with those who want to forget about what Bill and Hillary Clinton may have done in the past. They’re gone, finished. We want to believe it, too. The day when this country can forget about that boundlessly unscrupulous duo will be a happy one."

I'm somewhat skeptical that a GOP candidate started the dossier as that is only based upon anonymous reports. It's certainly possible, but wouldn't be surprised if that was a lie as no one has named the Republican yet.

It could be that the Koch Brothers hired Steele. But the articles say the dossier didn't exist at that time, only that Steele started his opposition research.

From what I've read, some gop'er hired Fusion GPS for oppo research, but that was it. It wasnt until Clinton came along that they hired Steele, got the Kremlin involved, yadda yadda. Which I can believe, because I have a hard time believing anyone in the GOP would flagrantly violate FEC laws like this. Gregg Jarrett laid out how this isnt some trivial misdemeanor. Its a serious crime with serious prison time.
Bullet, no argument there.. I think Hillary, Podesta and a few others are going to find someone to take the bullet for them.
But I'm not letting the entrenched Republicans off the hook on this one. I am convinced they had their fingers in this as well. (Again, the ones who come to mind are the three I named and Graham.. (and probably Flake)).
