Where are our former coaches on that list? BK, MD and BJ?

MD- #16 $4.382M
BJ- #20 $4.1M
BK- #64 $1.645M

FWIW, BK's salary has to be much more than what is being reported. Potentially that is his base salary, but I would imagine he makes more than twice that amount with bonuses and other incentives. Hell, we were paying him more than that when he left UC.

Why isn't Kelly listed in the top 10? Did he get fired and I missed it?

Private school; they don't have to release as much information about total compensation as public universities do. I'm sure he is top 10-20 and a lower figure is sometimes a function of when they signed a multi-year deal.

ND pays its women's basketball coach over $1.3 million base. My guess is what is listed there is only a sliver of what BK takes home.

Strong is really making 6.2mil a yr for the next 2 years thanks to Texas. I guarantee you he wont be making $2.5 mil in 2019 . He is 2 and done at USF at best

Whatever P5 takes that bait is a sucker. Never thought much of Strong. What he’s doing now is simply watching Taggart’s program.

Remember how bad usf was Tagget's first couple of years. Building takes time. He really loaded up down there.

which is why he should've stayed one more year. He could've been at Tennessee or Ole Miss instead of trying to convince a bunch of Floridians to move to Oregon.

Maybe. Oregon still has some cache nationally. He has west coast (pac 12) experience. Oregon has great facilities as well. I think it's a better job than Tennessee or Ole Miss.

Re: Bear Bryant

Read the Book "The Junction Boys: How Ten Days in Hell with Bear Bryant Forged a Championship Team" some time... then laugh with me about the "toughness" of running secondary drills till you sweat...

What I find interesting about this list is Fickell's buyout... $9.1 million, 2nd among all non-P5 schools.

It erodes each year, and we weren't going to fire him without cause the first year regardless of the team's record. By the last year of his contract it is down to zero (the year before it is $1.2M).

He's doing just fine convincing people to move to Oregon. He's got the 5th best recruiting class in the country right now.

I have no desire to see him fired. Just thought it was a fairly high buyout.

not sure if anyone saw this but an interesting quirk in Fickell's contract allows him four complimentary tickets to the Final Four if UC makes it.

CLF has good taste in basketball.

Also has first dibs on riding the mythical unicorn should it ever prance onto campus. What a quirky contract.
