Part of me wants one, part of me is annoyed there's an extra stripe on the sleeve, all of me is in my late 30s and knows I'm not the jersey wearing type anymore.

You're never to old to wear a jersey to a game. (At least I hope not)

According to VCB's website, the jersey is only available with #1.

Usually you can get custom jerseys with different numbers and a name on the back.

I don't want #1. I want Sutton Smith's jersey, so I can put it on and knock people down.

I wonder if whoever ordered it from the VCB assumed there were 3 stripes because its Adidas

I am in my late 60s and I want one; not sure if I could carry off wearing it in public.

That may not be an extra stripe. Addidas almost always runs a triple stripe, as its their logo. Actual game jersey's be tailored and the 3rd stripe might be getting cut off at that point to have extra small/tight sleeves.

I wondered if the 3rd stripe was cut off but since its the same on the Nebraska and Wisconsin jerseys I think that is how it is.

We have two stripes. My guess is adidas keeps the authentic and replicas different and thats one way to.

We can't stop getting older; nor would we want to. The alternative is far worse. Stay young in spirit, my friend! Wear that jersey with Huskie pride and to hell with what anyone else might think!

Maybe but the authentics clearly have shorter sleeves. Doubtful they would remove part of their own logo on the game jerseys as a matter of normal business. There are literally people who are paid by the companies to determine how much screen time their logos get.

With the proliferation of knock off Hawks jerseys floating around everybody has a jersey nowadays. Any jersey rules are off limits now
