RE: World Series thread
Astros manage to score two off of Jansen in the 8th and 9th to send it to extra innings.

And Altuve just put them up in the 10th 4-3.

Nice job by Cingrani. He did a lot better than the Aggie reliever earlier in the game for LA.

RE: World Series thread
Two things:

1. The Astros have had many great players, but never one as special as Altuve. If he plays long enough, he is probably a first-ballot HOFer.

2. The Dodgers' manager has completely bungled this game. This was the one game of the first four in which the Dodgers were going to be at a real disadvantage, and yet Roberts has decided to burn through almost the entire staff trying to win it. He's about to pay for that in a big way.

Extraordinary game.

Cingrani brought in ... and after an intentional walk ... gets a comebacker inning-ending double play.

Houston. That's easy. Haha, while hoping that Cingrani isn't the reason LA loses

Cingrani closes out the inning. 5-3 good guys. B10

Tony looked good in T10, so it's fine that the Astros hold the Dodgers in B10 to win.

Giles -- stretched into a second-inning save, just as Jansen had been -- goes from 1-2 to a two-out walk to Forsythe.

And throws a 1-0 bouncing wild pitch. Tying run advances to 2nd base!

Fall classic indeed. 5-5 now. What a game. Giles sucks.

RE: World Series thread
Reddick played that just about as well as he could have too.

The Astros' bullpen has gotten Roberts off the hook. For now.
