I am Southern Miss fan to the core and that was my thought. When I first saw it I initially thought it was just a solid black helmet. Once you get more than 10 feet or so away from it there's a good chance you won't be able to even tell what the logo on the helmet is.

C'mon, badly? We both know what badly is! Our game was a good game but then again that's football and I'm not the one who's salty.

I think these helmets rule. What's so great about it is it's these types of athletic moves that our players and prospective recruits really like and gravitate towards

yes, badly...not salty...just questioning the helmet, just like another usm poster did...guess he is salty as well...

and totally agree about getting new ideas/uniforms out there for recruits. north texas finally hired a social media guy and the things he is putting up is pretty cool and out of the norm for north texas. plus, north texas has been changing up their uniforms and helmets because that's what kids want. flashy uniforms/tweets/helmets/experiences are what recruits want.

If they would have just put a very narrow white or yellow line around the sticker it wouldn't have been noticeable, but it would have made the matte logo of the eagle pop more.

This helmet is for a blackout game. It's a true blackout helmet. That's why it rules.
