Please don't rain.

I'm hoping for a big crowd and festive Halloween atmosphere at the tailgates.

Rain also plays into Tulane's favor with a rush-happy offense.

Weather.com says 50% showers in the early afternoon but should clear out well before game time.

Not good for a passing team, though.

7 MPH shouldn't hurt. That's the forecast I saw. As for the rain, it didn't seem to hurt the QB from ULM as much as it did our QB.

Weather forecasts are so accurate that they can correctly predict what time of day a rain front is passing through 5 days out? I'm a little surprised.

It all depends.

I had something planned yesterday from 2-4 and the forecast 5 days prior had rain starting at 2.

So it was pretty good from 5 days out.

I think it does better predicting rain associated with a front than by rain from a low pressure system.
